En route to Milford Sound

Nice 'shades' of mountains fading away..... due to foggy weather.

The lake above is named 'Mirror Lake'.

It was raining pretty heavily on our day trip to Milford Sound and the guide kept saying we r so lucky that it's raining...... cuz can c numerous temporary waterfalls (only formed with sufficient rainfall), hmmm...... anyway, Milford Sound region has wet weather most of time.

Some temporary waterfalls above, notice the white patch at midway of the mountain is ice.

This 1.2 km Homer Tunnel took 17 years to complete! Cuz it's through hard rock granite and some work interruption during WWII.
