Meeting People Part 1

I am not that kind who approach strangers and say 'Hi! Where r u from??'..... pple here r far more friendly then me lah..... mayb I shld start to record the interesting pple I meet so far....

1. Michelle Australian 35
This room-mate has been touring-cum-working all round the world for 4+ years already!! It seems she has that kind of $$$ to do so even with her simple sales job

2. Angelina Taiwanese 23
This hostel-mate planned to tour & work in NZ for a year, think she still got lots of mths to go!

3. Joe Kiwi 23
This kayak guide tried to look 30+ & had wished I'm 23 like he is.... hahahaha.....

4. Wolfgang German 50+
He was surprised to meet a Singaporean in a small town restaurant, had been working in Singapore for 25 years and still know where's Redhill, Whampoa, etc.... think he's some big shot in a big German shipping company.

5. Linda Kiwi 50+
My kayak partner who rescued me from that kayak capsize! think she's a carefree retiree now who loves to kayak and make muffins. Had sent her a Christmas card with thanks and she managed to track down my location and phone me even after I moved hostel!

6. Bella Taiwanese 20+
Another taiwanese room-mate staying 1 year in NZ for work & holiday. Hardworking & pleasant person who hold more and one job at once and well-liked by her employers.

7. UK & Taiwanese couple from US 40 & 37
Ran into them twice at two different towns! They had toured many places already in their car and the UK guy is v v chatty.
